Radiant Floors & Snow Melt Systems

 Radiant Floor Systems

Radiant floor heating is described as being the purest form of human thermal comfort. What does that mean? When hot water is pumped through tubing in your floors and this heat radiates from the floor upward to warm your rooms, there is no forced air blowing from vents. You won’t feel a draft and the result is cleaner more comfortable warmer air. Water can transport energy more efficiently than air, therefore lowering your energy bills. Radiant floor heating can be installed anywhere! Your home, garage, barn, office building, you name it! You can also find this under carpet, tile, hard wood, or concrete. The temperature is still easily controlled by a wall thermostat. You will also be free to move furniture wherever you like without the worry of covering vents.

These photos were taken while installing the Snow Melt systems at the new airplane hangars at the Greenwood Airport. These systems can be installed under driveways, sidewalks, driveways, sidewalks, patios, or any concrete surface where snow and ice will need melted. Installing a snow melt system can eliminate plowing and shovels, dangerous slips and falls on ice, and damage to surfaces caused by snow removing chemicals and equipment. Call our office to learn more about this system. Be snow and ice free before next winter!
